So Christmas time is nearly apon us again, you can tell as even though it's still November, all the christmas decorations have gone up, here in town theres been the big to do over switching the citys christmas lights on (half of which now don't work as they should) and the stores are going nuts over selling us tat that we don't really need.
But this is not what annoys me...
What annoys me is a local pizza company that shall remain (somewhat) nameless, but if I could find it, I'd do something naughty to the hutt where they do buisness.
Teasealot and I ordered some pizza from the above company, and I had to be talked down like a man on a ledge due to the containers.
This was the first week of November and the pizza boxes were made to look like christmas gifts with "seasons greetings" on them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the song "12 days of Christmas" is about the 12 DAYS of the seasonal period, not the 7 WEEKS of the seasonal period.

Coupled with that, theres the several exams I have to take before going out on my first placement in Januray. Now I'm not that worried as I have sat them before and passed with high marks (except one but I was nervious and scewed up badly). I don't really want the stress of studying AND figuring out what to buy for my perants, sister, grandmother and nephew. (fortantly I know what to buy Tease and I'm not saying )

Now you'd be forgiven for thinking I dislike the christmas period, I don't I LOVE it.
Building snowmen and sledging (weather permitting) rank as some of my all time favourite things to do (not snow angels so much, they always turn into devils....) and from the 1st of december, I'll be wearing my bright red santa hat to and from uni.
I celerbrate the meaning of christmas, that for one day a year, we come together, even if we dislike each other and have a civil meal, exchange small thoughtfull gifts and get wasted on whiskey.

So, try to remember that christmas isn't about what cool presents you get, it's about family and spending time together.
(And if both sides in world war 1 can get together for a kick about, I think I can get on with my bastard of a brother in law)
